Privacy Policy

soccergames.fun ("we", "us", "the site") is a free, browser-based catalog of soccer and football games. We do not sell anything, we do not require an account, and we keep the data we touch to the bare minimum needed to run the site. This page explains, in plain English, exactly what that means.

1. Information we collect

We do not ask you to register, log in, or hand over any personal information to browse or play. The only information our own servers receive when you visit is the standard request data your browser sends to any website: IP address, user-agent, referring page, the URL you requested and a timestamp. This data is used to serve the page, debug errors and produce aggregate traffic counts. It is not sold and not shared with third parties for advertising.

If we ever introduce features that require you to submit information yourself (for example a contact form), this policy will be updated before that feature ships and you will only ever provide that information voluntarily.

2. Cookies and local storage

soccergames.fun itself sets only the small handful of technical cookies and local-storage entries needed to remember preferences such as a recently played game or whether you have dismissed an in-page banner. We do not set tracking cookies for cross-site advertising.

Embedded third-party games (see section 4) load inside an iframe from their original publisher. Those iframes may set their own cookies governed by the publisher's privacy policy, which we do not control. You can block third-party cookies in your browser settings without breaking the rest of the site.

3. Analytics

We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which games are popular and where the site is slow. The analytics provider receives your IP address and basic page-view metadata, and the IP is anonymised before being stored. We do not build a per-user profile, and we do not link analytics events to any identifiable account because no accounts exist.

4. Embedded third-party games

Each game on the site loads inside a sandboxed iframe served by its original publisher. When you press Play, your browser establishes a direct connection with that publisher to download the game. From that point on, the game runs under the publisher's domain and its own privacy practices apply to anything that happens inside the frame, including any in-game ads, scoreboards or telemetry.

We deliberately mount iframes only after you click Play, so no third-party connection is opened until you ask for it. We pick games hosted on HTTPS and avoid titles that demand intrusive permissions.

5. Advertising

We do not run ads on the site frame itself. Some embedded games may display ads served by their own publisher inside the game window. Those ads are governed by the publisher's own ad partners and privacy policy.

6. Children's privacy

The site is suitable for general audiences and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because no account or registration exists, we have no realistic way of identifying users by age. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a third-party game embedded on the site is collecting information from your child, please contact us and we will investigate or remove the game.

7. Your choices

You can clear all soccergames.fun cookies and local-storage entries at any time using your browser's site-data settings. You can block analytics by enabling the Do-Not-Track flag, using a tracker-blocking extension, or browsing in private mode. None of these actions will limit your ability to play the games on the site.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, for material changes, surface a banner on the homepage for a reasonable period. The current version is always available at this URL.

9. Contact
